Dr. Brown

Dr. Dianne Brown

Dr. Brown graduated from veterinary school at Washington State University in 1990 and practiced around the Seattle area for 17 years. For the 5 years prior to purchasing Seaside Pet Clinic, she worked as a relief doctor, filling in for doctors like Dr. Remensnyder when they go on vacation. When Dr. Remensnyder decided to retire, Dr. Brown was eager to bring her family to the beautiful Oregon coast and get away from the Seattle traffic. She has owned the Seaside Pet Clinic since May 2007.

Julie Fox, Groomer

Julie started with Seaside Pet Clinic in January, 2008. She had been grooming in the Portland area for 15 years. She stepped out of the grooming business for a change in professions and soon learned that she missed grooming pets so when she moved to the coast, she started working for Seaside Pet Clinic. You can also find her tending tables at a couple of the local restaurants in the Warrenton area.

You can make an appointment with Julie on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday

Misha Brown, Groomer / Veterinary Assistant

Misha returned to Seaside Pet Clinic in January 2009 where she grooms one day a week and works in back as a veterinary assistant on other days. She grew up in Astoria with numerous types of animals including ducks, cats, and goats. She showed horses, dogs, rabbits, and guinea pigs. Currently, Misha has 4 dogs; 2 Whippets, a Lab mix, and an English Bull terrier. Misha started working for a local kennel at the age of 19 which lead her to grooming and where she has been grooming in various places in this county for the past 9 years.

You can make an appointment with Misha on Thursday.

dolores

Dolores Matthys, Veterinary Assistant

Dolores started with Seaside Pet Clinic in April, 2008. When her parents would ask young Dolores if she wanted a "little brother, a little sister, or a puppy/kitty/pony", the answer was always in favor of an animal. After paying her dues in the corporate world she now devotes all her time to caring for animals and their owners at the clinic and with her own animal massage and pet sitting business (www.oregonbeachtails.com). She shares her home with 3 adopted dogs and a cat (for now).

Christa Beecham, Customer Care Coordinator

Christa orignally worked for Dr. Remensnyder when the practice was sold to Dr. Brown. She continues to be a friendly face to the clients and patients at Seaside Pet Clinic. Prior to working for Dr. Remensnyder, she worked at veterinary clinics in California and Oregon while her husband was in the Coast Guard. No longer moving every 3 years, Christa and her husband settled down on the North Coast where she started working for Dr. Remensnyder in 1994.

Ken Dickerson, Office Manager/Customer Care Coordinator/Maintenance/...

Ken joined the clinic when he and his wife, Dr. Brown, purchased the clinic from Dr. Remensnyder. Before moving to the Seaside area, he was a Software Design Engineer at Philips Medical (for almost 20 years) where he focused on the User Interface of the high-end ultrasound system. He was also instrumental in the integration of voice control for the ultrasound system. Whereas he programmed computer systems before, he now focuses his time on using front-end products to develop and maintain this web site as well as to run the day-to-day work as an office manager. Lately, you will find him at the front desk in the afternoons Tue thru Fri. Other times, you may find him making changes to the clinic as well as other maintenance projects that seem to plague any building. In his off time, he chauffers the kids to their endless events and volunteers for a number of organizations like the Chamber of Commerce, Rotary, soccer coaching, 4H robotics leader, and Seaside High school.

Trouble, Clinic Cat

Trouble has lived in the clinic since 1995 and came with the clinic when Dr. Brown took ownership. She is hard at work every day doing her job. Her job consists of making sure no chair is unoccupied, no food is left out to spoil, and no one forgets how cute she is. When she is not working, she enjoys taking long naps, eating, and being adored by everybody. Trouble would like to thank her Ma and Paw for supporting her so much in her career.
